In 2022

Graduating seniors, faculty, and staff can drop items off June 1-3 from 12:30-2:30 at the Facilities Barn, which is located behind the tennis courts and across from Poker Flats and the college’s community garden.

The Pre-GreenUp for underclass students only is Sunday May 22 and Monday May 23 from 12noon – 3pm at the main desk of Jesup Hall.

What Can’t I Drop Off?

Do not bring household items like TVs, VCRs, microwaves, etc.

What About Other E-Waste?

For college-owned equipment, contact the OIT helpdesk for information about proper disposal.  For more info about cell phones, college-owned thermostats, and more, visit the Recycling Guide.

Why Recycle This Stuff?

Do not put any computer equipment in the trash.  Computer have all sorts of toxins that are hazardous if disposed of incorrectly.  Additionally, to protect personal information, computing equipment that is properly recycled will have hard drives removed and destroyed.

Recycling computer equipment is not inexpensive.  OIT offers this as a free service to students and employees.

For more information, visit OIT’s GreenUp page.
