Williams strives to improve how we divert waste throughout our campus. The College educates about and encourages reducing, reusing, recycling, and composting to minimize the amount of waste that Williams sends to incinerators each year.
If you have ideas, suggestions, concerns, or just want to learn more about waste on campus, come visit us in the ’66 Environmental Center, join the Zero Waste Working Group, or email us. If you have specific questions about how to dispose of a particular item, reference the up-to-date Recycling Guide. Interested in doing a waste-related project for a class? Here is the spreadsheet into which our haulers report their numbers. Please share your findings/final project with us and we’ll add it to our student projects page on the sustainability website so that other students can build off of your work.
