Summer Internships

Summer interns in the Zilkha Center for Environmental Initiatives have the opportunity to focus on sustainability projects that impact our campus community.

The Zilkha Center hires interns with specific job descriptions to work for 10 weeks on campus during the summer from about June 11 to about August 17.

Past internships have included garden interns, artists-in-residence, energy conservation analysts, food interns, real food calculators, food waste specialists, sustainability communications interns, and graphic design interns.  Projects have included designing interpretive indoor and outdoor signage for the Envi Center, working with Athletics to find local and sustainable food options for teams’ road trips, working with WOC to make the WOOLF menu include more sustainable and local food, creating a video for First Days that explains sustainability on campus to incoming first years.

2018 Zilkha Center Summer Internship Descriptions and Application – Applications accepted on a rolling basis through March 25.
