April 28 & 29, May 5 & 6, 2012

The Sustainable Food & Agriculture Program was the primary sponsor of this series of foraging walks highlighting sustainable foraging techniques. Participants discovered a diverse landscape of edible food at the foot of Mount Greylock, along the Hoosic River, and in the open pastures of Williamstown. Over fifteen students joined these walks, which often concluded with tasty treats prepared from foraged plants.

Stay tuned for foraging walks in the spring of 2013!

These walks were free of charge for Williams College students. Other community members paid $25. This program was organized by Berkshire Farm & Table, and the Sustainable Food & Agriculture Program is a major sponsor.
