Sustainable Food Interns 2012

Over the summer of 2012, three interns worked with the Zilkha Center’s Sustainable Food & Agriculture Program to further the mission of promoting responsible campus foodways.

Los Angeles, California

Eirann is a founding member of Real Food Williams and a member of the Food & Dining Sustainability Working Group. This summer, Eirann shared her time with Dining Services and the Program. Eirann’s work enables Dining Services to implement a more complete nutrition information system in the fall. Eirann also began to apply the Real Food Calculator, a metric used to measure college food service sustainability. Read about Eirann’s experience here.

He has arranged two public exhibitions of his work in the fall: one in the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance, and one at a restaurant in North Adams (details forthcoming). The campus show reception is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19th, at 7:00 p.m., in the ’62 Center.
