The Dartmouth Sustainability Summit is an opportunity for a few student sustainability leaders from each school to build a support network, share successful initiatives, discuss challenges we face, and learn from one another to better tackle sustainability issues at our respective institutions.
This summit will be on Saturday, April 13 2019 from 9am-8pm. The deadline for registration is Tuesday, March 5.
Our programming, though not set in stone yet, includes an interactive visioning workshop, which differs from last year’s, called Finding Your Why, a working lunch, a Green Career Panel with awesome Dartmouth alumni, a presentation by our Sustainability Office on inclusivity in environmental advocacy, student presentations, and a keynote speaker. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all provided and will be homemade and locally sourced, including brick oven pizza and s’mores at the Dartmouth Organic Farm for dinner.
If you or someone you know wants to present on a sustainability initiative or topic they are passionate about or working on, lead an activity or discussion, please email Caroline (cwb2). We want to hear about what you are doing and what you have to share!
The Summit is a great opportunity to share best practices and challenges, as well as provide support for initiatives at different colleges and universities.
