Petition for a Certificate of Public Good – Pownal Biomass Project

The Beaver Wood Energy petition for a Certificate of Public Good pursuant to Section 248 to install and operate  a biomass energy facility and an integrated wood pellet manufacturing facility on the north end of the former Green Mountain Racetrack Vermont Public Service has been filed.  The documents are available at various public offices, including the Town of Pownal, who kindly permitted us to scan the documents to make them available on this website.  You can download the document (or read online) by selecting the links below.

We did our best to copy the files and post them here correctly but there is no guarantee that we haven’t messed something up.  I hope these are useful.  We will endeavor to continue to improve the organization of these files.  The titles shown are intended to give some indication of the information contained in the attached files.  They are not official petition document titles.  Some maps and other documents are somewhat incomplete.  Full documents may be or become available at the one of the organizations listed in item 5. List of Town and State agencies.
