Green Office Program

 

Green Offices is a voluntary program which aims to increase the sustainability of workspaces at Williams. Learn how to make your office more sustainable and tell us what sustainable practices you’re already engaging in by completing the Green Offices checklist.

The program has seven sustainability categories and within each, there are a number of criteria through which you can assess your office.

The sustainability categories are:

  1. Energy & Conservation
  2. Waste Minimization
  3. Purchasing
  4. Meetings & Events
  5. Recycling
  6. Engagement
  7. Safe, Healthy, & Equitable Work Environment

Since the Spring of 2018, OIT, the Office of College Relations, WCMA, the Libraries, the Office of Communications, HR, and the Center for Foreign Languages, Literatures, Cultures have joined the Green Office program.
