The Zilkha Center hires student interns to work during the academic year and the summer on campus sustainability projects.
Interns during the academic year work anywhere from a few hours a month to several hours weekly. They may work on research projects, on supporting programs and initiatives of the Center, or on initiatives of their own design.
Summer interns typically work for 10 weeks on a focused project. Past internships have included garden interns, artists-in-residence, energy conservation analysts, real food calculators, food waste specialists.
Summer interns in the Zilkha Center for Environmental Initiatives have the opportunity to focus on sustainability projects that impact our campus community.
The Zilkha Center hires interns with specific job descriptions to work for 10 weeks on campus during the summer.
2015 Internships included: Energy Conservation Analyst, Environmental Center Education Intern, Food Waste Specialist, Artist-in-Residence, and a Social Media/Communications Intern.
